As in the title, I think I read somewhere that it was implemented but I never saw it in practice.

Any way to have the latest launched games appear when we rightclick Galaxy's icon in the taskbar?

That would be neat.

You probably right-click an icon in the corner (system tray), where there are only two options to select.
Instead you need to open Galaxy and right-click on an icon that appears on the bottom bar (taskbar).
There you should have the recently played games list.

It appears nowhere.

It'd be nice to have, on the icon tray too.
As DawEdhel already mentioned the recently played games list is only available in the Galaxy taskbar icon but not in the Galaxy system tray icon.

And as I've said a couple times now: it appears NOWHERE! :D

Do you happen to have the Recent Items setting in Windows set to disabled? As that disables all recent items in taskbar jumplists, too.

That was the issue for me, once I enabled Recent Items and restarted Galaxy, the recently played games now appear when right-clicking the taskbar icon.

Thank you, i'd been wondering why that wasn't working.

Geez, must be that.

It's a terrible idea, it should be an independent option. I mean, Steam allows it and from the icon in the task bar itself (next to the clock). It's better that way.
I would love to see a a quick launch list on the system tray, the Steam one work really well before they broke it..
