Galaxy 2.0 is barely usable at this point. It drains huge amounts of memory and CPU, takes several minutes to load up the DB. At this stage I'd rather remove all my synced games and revert to just seeing my GOG library until there is improvement tot he software's handling of large DBs.

Is there a quick way to remove all non-GOG games? I removed the integrations, but that doesn't take the games out of the DB.

Did you try clicking Sync Integrations in the cogwheel menu?

If that doesn't help, try starting over with a fresh database:
1. Exit GOG Galaxy.
2. Start File Explorer and enter the following in the address bar: %AllUsersProfile%\GOG.com\Galaxy
3. Delete the storage folder.
4. When you next start GOG Galaxy, it will import your owned games. To add installed games, click the cogwheel and choose Add Games & Friends, then Scan Folders for GOG Games.
I did the same weeks ago and now the app is much faster and responsive. I disconnected all integrations and restarted Galaxy. Rather use it for GOG / DRM-Free games only because I got tired of waiting for performance improvements. I mean, the app is barely updated anymore and some stuff, like the overlay, is very slow and has not been improved at all since release.

That did not work for me. I wasn't expecting it to, because this GOG install was a fresh one anyway, so the stored games from the DB must have been pulled from cloud storage in the first place. But yeah, even with no integrations, having synced integrations and having deleted the storage folder I'm still seeing Steam games.

It could be due to me having added metadata for physical games manually, but it's still a pain. On this clean pass it took over ten minutes to rebuild the db even on a very high end desktop PC with a fast internet connection, and it takes a good one or two minutes on a normal boot despite the db being cached.

The attempt did make it forget the games I had installed, though, so there's that :D

To Anidais' point, it's frustrating to see them patch in more ads to the "Discover" tab, which they keep bugging me about with surveys and not have the thing that makes the app fundamentally unusable addressed.

Same problem, Galaxy 2 is just a nightmare.
Steam plugin broken for ages, old database must by stored in the cloud because it's impossible to get rid off.

Please add a "purge everything everywhere" button
