So, I've recently installed GoG Galaxy, after some significant badgering from a friend, with the intent to use it as my primary gaming platform. But when I've attempted to link my Steam account, it just kinda hangs there for a minute or so before returning a "Offline - Retry" error. I don't know where the problem lies, as I am obviously not offline. I did link my Epic Games library and that worked just fine, but Steam is where 99% of my library is housed and that's not working. I've tried all the obvious first-step tech solutions and have had no luck. Anyone have any idea for a possible fix?

A lot of these addons are very out of date.

However, when it comes to steam, it could be an issue of getting the verification code at times.
Personally I don’t have a problem with the Steam Guard code, just need to press the “Show code” button in the phone app once, and when I try to link accounts the code pops up in the phone’s curtain.
However, I have the same problem. And when I restart GOG Galaxy, the Steam account is just “Not Connected”.

I’ll even say more - having installed Cyberpunk 2077 after the release 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, and despite the fact that REDlauncher has authorization (I even tried logging out of my account and logging in again), new items are not highlighted with green checkmarks, and inside In the game itself on the main screen "My rewards" button gives an error, saying you need to log into your account in REDlauncher.
So I still can't play the game I bought. And patch 2.01 didn't change anything.

I'm increasingly thinking about getting the Jolly Roger flag out of the 2015 chest...
