Hello,

I have bought my first game here, Warcraft 2, and downloaded it. So far everythings good.

But when I install it in the GOG Galaxy it stops at 95% and it says that there's not enough space on my disc. I know there is enough space. When I try to uninstall it won't work either.

More exactly is says in the box right besides the install button; "Installation failed (E4)
Disc access error occured during installation"

Well, I enabled GOG Galaxy in my antivirus, VGN, and restarted my computer.

Still, it won't work.

So I went to "my computer" cataloge and found were I tried to installed it and then tried to launch it that way, from there.

Well, now it works! But, nothing is saved in the GOG Galaxy now.

Please, what is the problem here? Why won't it work through GOG Galaxy?

Thank you in advance, GamleAdolf.

Where to have you installed Galaxy, and the Game?

At all costs avoid to install stuff to something like C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86), this leads to all kinds of trouble, since Windows interferes here.

Always install games to something like C:\GOG Games\(gamename) or on another drive.
Allright! Great tip! Does this apply to the GOG Galaxy as a whole as well? Maybe it's a good idea to reinstall it in a different folder anyway.

I reply how it went tomorrow. Thanks! /GamleAdolf
Are you installing to a internal drive, external drive or network drive? Are you installing as an admin? I would disable antivirus completely when installing the game, as sometimes they can pick up on game files and remove them causing errors. If that happens, you have to exclude the game folder from real time scanning.

I installed it to C.

Well, I reinstalled it to C:\GOG Galaxy and the (E5) disapered but a (E2) came up instead. [E2) is a firewall problem.

So I downloaded the game setup manually from the webpage via my account so I could install it directly and not via internet.

It went fine. Everything looks great on Galaxy. but when I press Play it now says "Game installation not found".

I installed it to C:\GOG Galaxy\Games\Warcraft II BNE

For the fun of it a friend installed GOG Galaxy on his computer and logged in on my account and installed it just fine.
Yes! Now I got it to work! I had to do an additional executables. The "File 1" was "War2Launcher.exe" witch claimed there were no installation. File 3 was the map editor (what File 2 is are not clear) and then I added "Warcraft II BNE.exe" for File 4 and then launched the game trough the option menu.

Well, it got complicated for me, but now it works properly through GOG Galaxy.

Thank you ToxicTom for helping me with the first problem I stumbled upon.

I found that adding the GOG Galaxy application to your windows firewall fixed it for me. Before this any time I clicked install on a game, it would just load and not process.
