Hi all,

I am having trouble installing GOG Galaxy or trying to install it.

I downloaded the installer fresh from here, but every time the launcher is downloading the files, it starts trying to install before all files are downloaded.

This results in the following error message:
Failed to download necessary files. Please check your internet connection ............

Can't read what's after that because the Support Article button is in front.

Nothing is wrong with my internet connection, and launching the installer as an Admin doesn't change anything.

Hope someone here can help me.

well without knowing if your OS is even Windows its kind of hard to help but if you just want to bypass the auto install step try this link;

https://gog-cdn-lumen.secure2.footprint.net/open/galaxy/client/2.0.46.133/setup_galaxy_2.0.46.133.exe

that will give you the full set of files before the next step

Gente estou tentando instalar o terraria e está dando esse erro, tentei instalar o GOG Galaxy porém o erro é o mesmo, estou no Windows 8.1 e até pensei que o GOG não dava mais suporte a esse Windows, porém não sei

Running Windows 11 64-bit , and installer will not install GOG Galaxy. Am running as admin, it asks for permission to make changes, I click yes & nothing happens.

Do you see a "pretty print" option somewhere in the browser window when you load that JSON link? If not, you need an extension like JSON Viewer to make that page readable.

Here's the current link to setup_galaxy_2.0.75.142.exe which will become outdated when GOG Galaxy is updated next.
