I'm getting this error "Connection to Communication Service was lost and could not be restored! GOG Galaxy will now shutdown." within a few seconds from starting the GOG Galaxy application and when I click "OK" it just yeets off.
I've Googled this and tried a couple solutions but nothing helps, here is what I've tried so far:
- I made a rule to allow traffic from GOG exes in the firewall.
- I disabled my firewall.
- I'm not running virtualization.
- I've tried running the application as an Administrator.
- I don't have anti virus or other third party software that could block the communication, I'm actually on a fresh windows (3 days) install.
Yesterday it was working fine, today it's not working.
Any ideas? can I get my money back? oh wait, it's free... but I actually can't play Gwent or other games I paid for. I thought I could simply run Gwent from the exe but it doesn't let me use Gwent because it says GOG Galaxy is not logged in (duh) because the darn thing keeps closing.
