It's getting irritating that I constantly have to re-start galaxy every time I have to verify/install a game, plus the fact that it keeps randomly logging me off and disconnecting the associations really pisses me off!

If it wasn't for the fact that you need this to install/update games (Offline installers are often delayed) I would simply stick with playnite and be done with it!

Sure this open beta, but it's been public beta for a few years already, sure I love GoG to death and the client, but it gets really irritating that I have to babysit this program, whereas my old galaxy 1.2 never had this issue!

are you using Windows 7 perhaps?
I ask because what you describe sounds like network dropping and that happens more on older builds of Windows

anyway you may just want to stay with Galaxy 1 if that works stable for you

Thanks for the response/suggestion, but no, I'm using win 10 64 Pro, and there may be network issues, I hadn't thought of that, but re-starting to install/verify games have been in existence since the beginning, and 1.2 is not an option as I actually love using galaxy 2 in spite of its quirks!

I'll send in a ticket if I get logged off again, (Already happened twice in 24 hours) which is abnormal even for this quirky program!
