Greetings:
I recently bought Divinity Original Sin II. I have played 33h, you can check in my profile, when I have suffered a problem in w10 and I have regenerated my windows user. My surprise has been when trusting the cloud synchronization of the GOG galaxy it turns out that I have lost that game.
You can imagine what I thought about you. Nothing nice, really. I know it's a free feature, I don't pay for it. BUT IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO OFFER IT IN CONDITIONS don't do it. Just don't offer it. You may have too many projects underway, too much work, etc. etc. But you have disappointed me.
I hope and desire that Cyberpunk 2077 will be the great game that you promise. I'm sure you have the best people working on it. Due to my personal situation, it will take me a while to test it as with DOS II. I wish you all the best.

You could contact support, maybe there is a backup of your saves lying around somewhere.
