OK, so I've finally received the 2.0 Beta invitation, but, a small issue: the e-mail I've received the invite is not the same I use for GOG. So, I've installed 2.0, and apparently it merges installation with the basic Galaxy installation.

So, how should I proceed, here? I read the warning, but I thought the Beta 2.0 was a separate installation, and if things went wrong, I would be able to just uninstall it, and wait for a later release. I really don't want to reinstall everything...

Change your GOG Email address to the one you got the invite for. That's the easiest solution I think. Alternatively, maybe Support can help change the Email your Galaxy 2.0 Account is flagged on, but the first solution is definitly faster.

Till your e-mail issue is resolved you can just uninstall 2.0 and reinstall 1.2 > at least for now the library data the clients stores on your system are compatible
