adaliabooks: I opened up Galaxy to find where I had a game and install it, it did an update on opening and everything was working fine as I browsed my library.
The game I wanted was Shadowrun Hong Kong and it turned out I had it on GOG so I clicked install. It started downloading and seemed to work fine for a while, it got to around 17% and then it crashed. I restarted Galaxy a couple of times and each time it worked for a minute or so and then crashed again. I tried pausing the download and it stayed open and worked fine for a while until I restarted the download, at which point it crashed again.

I restarted my computer, no difference.
I aborted the download and tried again, it made it back to 17.4% and then crashed again, so there is something definitely wrong with the download.
I've tried downloading another game and it has worked fine, so it looks like it's specifically Shadowrun Hong Kong that is the issue.

Any ideas?

cz2887cj: i have the same problem as you with Sleeping Dog but i have no solution to it, it crash 3 times before i managed to complete the installation but the game cannot start as it stop at syncing 0%. This happen to my laptop but everything was running fine on my desktop.

Ice_Mage: * Check drive health with CrystalDiskInfo.
* Check file system with chkdsk.
* If you have multiple drives, set the temp update and other downloads folders to another drive. If not, change them to new folders directly under the root of the drive.
* You could also check the RAM, but that's time-consuming and less likely to be the problem.
* Double-check that you have the latest version, which is currently 2.0.43.71. Some on the forum may recommend sticking to 2.0.37 if you're on Windows 7, but this isn't necessary.
* If the problem persists, open a new support ticket, if you haven't already.
