Its not that I'm adverse to updating my stuff. Quite the opposite actually. But when that lazy a** piece of a launcher states it has an update ready after what feels like 5 hours after I started it and by the time I already started several game updates that I do not want to interrupt I really don't give a f about its own update desires.

Sometimes I remember it later on and do it afterwards; rarely I do check manually right after starting it (happened once though). But at the end of the day for me its just the middleman to my games and should be as silent as possible. When I start the launcher I do not care about it. I care about the games it should manage.

TL/DR: Update announcement DIRECTLY at start please. Otherwise its just an annoyance.

I'd prefer an option to silently download the update, and then silently apply it at next startup. A notification about the changes could be added somewhere like the Recent category, which could get a little notification pip when it has something new to show.
