Gog Galaxy 2.0 is a nightmare to navigate. I just ordered three games, and did a search that didn't show them. There isn't a way to sort via recently purchased, so I looked under order history. It showed the games there, but they aren't clickable to install.

I can't navigate to a games forums or a games store page from the new galaxy, except by leaving the library and doing a search in the store and clicking the link from the games store page.

There are other things that I have ran across that I don't like, that I can't think of this second, but plowed thru hoping it would get fixed as this is beta.

The 3 games not showing up on Galaxy, but showing up on the website and galaxy order history was the last straw.

I'm done with beta Galaxy. I want to go back to the original galaxy, which needs to add And/Or/Not options to tag filtering to make tags worthwhile, but otherwise does what it needs to do.

Do I just uninstall the beta and download the original I suppose?
I can't find the original Galaxy download. If it's on the website, they have hidden it under layers or something to promote 2.0.

Anyone have a link to the old Galaxy? This has just messed things up. Why have a beta, and force it on people? If you aren't forcing it, then why can't I find the original Galaxy to download easier?

I think I found the download at the bottom of the store page. But it says newer version already installed and closes. Now it looks like I need to uninstall Galaxy. But I don't want to corrupt any of the games.

This is crap. The original issues looks to have resolved itself. My games are now showing. Not sure how long it took, but longer than half an hour and maybe much more.

I don't want to participate anymore with the Beta. There should be a link for instructions on roll back and when you clink on GoG Galaxy downloads, it shouldn't default to the f-ing Beta.

This should be a standard feature, being able to visit the store page using a menu item or button while viewing the game entry. I've had to resort already a few times in the last week to manually visiting the website store via the client then searching just to locate the user reviews section and other info/links from the page.

A concern with Galaxy 2.0 progress is the devs' time is now naturally split more in handling the issues/requests arising with their multi-service integration, compared with maintaining and improving GOG.com/Galaxy exclusive aspects. I'd like to have faith the core experience for GOG.com customers in particular continues to improve.

See thread here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/how_to_get_back_to_12x_client

This approach worked for me - uninstall Galaxy 2.0, install 1.2.x, scan games folder.
Oh my! Thank you.

After installing the old GoG Galaxy and seeing my collection in an orderly fashion is such a great feeling. It makes me realize just how bad the display of your games are on Galaxy 2.0. How needlessly complicated. *edit:* I think its because its back to being organized by purchase date, which isn't an option in 2.0 that makes it feel so much better. It is what I am used too. That, and being able to get to the Store page and Forum page from the game page, and being able to see what needs to be updated with a link to new game version logs and etc etc. *end edit*

Thanks again.
