jfmongrain: I'm sorry the update does not work well on your side, but it's a beta. You knew what you signed for. No need to lash out at the devs.
If you want a stable launcher, you should use the... stable one.
In case you haven't noticed, GOG is making it hard for its customers to use anything but this beta version.
– If you look at the GOG Galaxy page, the only thing you can download is the 2.0 beta
– If you go in your library, it's either (optionally) the offline installer or (by default) the 2.0 beta
– Last week they offered The Witcher if you accepted to use the 2.0 beta
So, no, I'm sorry, they cannot hide behind the beta label when they promote it as the default mean to download and play your games (but to their credit, they fixed the regressions rapidly so no much harm was done).
