HI

I bought the complete game through GOG and just installed from the downloaded file. However, I cannot get any patches or toolsets to work with it. When I launch game it says Ver 1.23. When i try to patch 1.69 it says game not found re install with cd.

My goal is to use aurora toolset and not default obsidian.

This sounds like NWN2 which uses the Electron toolset. You can't use the Aurora toolset with anything but NWN1. Likewise, only NWN1 can use the v1.69 patch.

I don't know how GoG updates NWN2, unfortunately. All I recall is that I had to apply at least a dozen or more patches to my version of NWN2 (DVD) to fix all the bugs. Perhaps GoG has streamlined the patching of NWN2 somehow, though.

v1.23 is the final version of NWN2. You should not need to patch GOG's NWN2.

And as Chipster said, you can't use NWN1's toolset (Aurora) for NWN2. You need to use NWN2's toolset (Electron).
