I am trying to finish a LAN set up with several NWN compatible PC's in my basement before cold weather so that we can game during the winter. I have one copy of the game from GOG and need two or three more. I would like to be able to buy copies through the account and user name that I have now instead of having an account for each copy. I have sent emails to GOG to ask if this is possible and how to proceed but haven't gotten a reply to any of my queries so I turn to the forum.
Can I buy more copies and get multiplayer CD keys for LAN play through my existing account? Also, with Bioware's current troubles can I get a new copy set up properly at all?
lastly, is there a certain trick to getting in touch with GOG via email?
Thanks
TG
I'm don't work at GOG, so i don't know the exact details surrounding the purchase of multiple game copies that are bound to the same account, or in other words, are bought with the same account. But i don't think it's possible. Contacting GOG to get a definitive answer is your best bet if you are set on wanting to buy the games (ahem "CD-Keys" literally) though.

As for your second question, you can still play NWN Online or over LAN perfectly fine. When you go to log in to the Authentication Server, the attempt will fail, but you can still play online perfectly fine (as in, Host or Join servers), the only problem will be that you can't officially register a new account. So for example, say...you want to register using the username "joe5000", you can use that username perfectly fine, but when/if the Authentication Servers come back online, if someone had already registered with "joe5000" your gonna be out of luck and have to register a new username and if you were playing on a server online, you'll have to contact the admin to see about transferring the characters you had from your temporary account to the new one.

For your third question, i can't help there, i've only ever contacted GOG once i think and it was to claim the CD Key for Spellforce, so i don't have much experience with their tech support.
Thanks
I suspect I am going to be in for trouble as I have sent a number of emails to GOG for no reply. It is frustrating to say the least.

You've hit them with a completely unexpected request. I'm pretty sure you've blown their little minds. I'm sure they have no procedure for this request. Spare yourself some grief and set up multiple accounts.

This really is your best option here. Urk's got you covered with this suggestion.
