I've been trying to complete the final boss for a couple hours. Several crashes and freezes later I finally got to the stage where a bunch of mini King of Shadows appear. Killed them off but nothing is happening now.

Any command to start the last phase? Anyway to just complete the game?

Also, Ammon Jerro keeps saying "One of the statues are cleared. Keep fighting until all the manifestations are gone."

Anyone?

How about destroying the other 4 statues, if you haven't already? Right-click and bash them. Then you need to destroy the portal with the silver sword.

A google search suggested the same but right clicking them does nothing. I don't get the dropdown menu.

Have you ever gotten the dropdown menu before, or is this the first time you've tried? The dropdown menu is accessed not with a simple right-click, but right-click-hold, like you would do to drag a desktop item with a left click. You can reduce how long you need to hold it before it appears, in the options menu.

Otherwise, you would also not get the menu if you're using a utility that swaps the right and middle mouse buttons to make the camera controls more like other games. In that case, you would need to middle-click-hold instead of right-click-hold.
