Nope. It is different publisher called Hasbro. They have a few games including Icenwind Dale 2 and Temple of Elemental Evil and they also have not been on sale for the same period. The publisher is still active - I just saw a thread about it in the general discusson about selling the D&D to Tencent and I was like - wait I minute I know this name. They had before 2022 a VERY long period where again the games werent discounted if I remember correctly. I assume they just forget about the store and they need to be reminded or something ....or maybe it is something else - we don't really know. I am trying to bring attention from time to time during major sales but nothing so far.

Holy, Tencent taking over D&D?! That's a huge step no wonder why Hasbro had drama over next edition of D&D they again tried to lower value of stocks to sell. Funny so Tencent takes over multiple studios, brand and so does Microsoft we will have only 2 companies. Guess I will just buy physical copy.

Hasbro commented. It was a fake rumor. D&D is the golden goose for them, they aren't selling it.
I was coming here to say the same thing. I believe I have had NWN2 on my Whichlist for years and it never budges in price. I have a mild curiosity to try it again after all these years, but not to the tune of $20.

I actually still have the "Evil book" DVD Rom edition (including map, ring, art booklet and miniature), with its own serial number. Unfortunately, no longer own a DVD-Rom drive. IJust go me wondering if there is maybe an ISO somewhere that I could use with my legaly purchased physical copy's serial?
Still no sale, soon it's gonna be 3 years.

Back in the day the whole D&D collection got on sale as a packaged deal and that's how i got all the D&D games from GOG but it is true that recently i have not seen similar sales. The Winter Sale on GOG is coming soon so there will be plenty of great games on sale.
Well technically, i.e. purely by the technology it uses, its still basically a current game.

IMHO its a decent, but not a great game. You can really just happily skip it and you wont miss much. Play any other more recent D&D title and you get the same. And in many cases with better story, sidequest, companions, combat, etc.
