So, I've been the server for multiplayer with my love for a few weeks now. All of a sudden, my games aren't appearing on the list when I create a new internet/lan game. My port is still open, firewalls down, yadayada. What the poop is going on? How can I even tell why it isn't showing up?! D: 'tis quit e sad.
The wonderful world of networking :-P
If you are connecting with a router, make sure your port forwarding is correct. Your local IP may have changed.
Yup. Sounds like a router issue.

Okay, so it definitely has something to do with the new CD key! When I uninstalled and reinstalled the original (with the original key) I could get on... provided no one else with the generic key did, and my server showed up just fine online. Yet when I tried putting in the new codes again, suddenly my server is not showing up again! GAH!
That doesn't make sense; the product keys have nothing to do with a server posting to the internet or not.
There is also a bug where the server does not always show up, in the gamespy list, for the person running the server. Have someone out side of your local network check to see if the server is there or not.
