Hello fellow gamer's....

Post Patch 1.3 on Steam is a big issue, you should check out Steam Forums to see all the hub bub this Patch has cause/is causing... I don't see anything like the feedback on Steam about post Patch 1.3 here on GoG's forum.... Leads me to believe that Steam's version of the game is buggy in some way. So much so I bought TW2 again from GoG this time to test my theory out; That GoG games are more reliable than Steam games...

That's pretty self explanatory. Steam is DRM and any DRM will eventually fuck up your game.

Quoted for emphasis.
Aaaaaah soooo! DRM is active on Steam huh? That could indeed by the reason for the bugginess of the latest Patch 1.3. Thanks for the info!

It is not.

Steam itself is a form of DRM, but it doesn't contain whatever DRM the original game had.
Any outcome in which Gabe Newell gets your money is an outcome where you're probably getting screwed.

I was just about to have breakfast when I read this.

The image of Gabe Newell screwing anything has turned me off food for the morning.

Thanks.

I can see it now: "Introducing the Valve diet plan--you don't technically get to own your health since you'll become entirely dependent on us, but you can get healthy anytime you want!"

:)
ha ha ha, You guys have a good sense of humor here at Gog. Something you don't often see or read in Steam. But who the heck is Gabe Newell?

Your Valve/Steam overlord: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabe_Newell

That's because we have many reasons to be happy about. Not getting screwed by G. Newell being the most obvious one :)

never had any problems with steam thus far. I find it really handy to be honest (national restrictions like censorship aside.)

Hi Hamon, glad to hear you are one of many on Steam who are not having problems. But you must admit that other people on Steam besides me are having problems with TW2 post patch 1.3... Thank you for not being ugly about this like many others are on the Steam forums... (+) 1 rep for Hamon...
