i get 20-30 fps no matter what settings i try ... i even went on to try ultra .. ofcourse without aa and uber sampling and ssao

i have 9800gt 4b ram e7500 2.93 ghz core 2 duo win xp

It's pretty much how the game works. Seems about right with your GPU. I also gain about 0 FPS using lower graphical settings. However, i'm still able to maintain 60+ FPS on Ultra without ubersampling.

Game is pretty demanding on the CPU, and that may "cap" your performance. I know I suffer from it, and I feel it expecially in crowded areas (Flotsam, Vergen).

My CPU is worse than yours tho, so I can't say for sure that's your problem

thanx 4 the replies .. It runs realy smooth in the city .. About 40 fps on high .. Shocking i thought my gpu wudnt b able 2 handle this game .. The fps drops drasticaly in the forest area .. Around 20 25 fps .. Anywayz il manage .. Thanx

It's probably just normal for how demanding this game is, but do you have the latest drivers from Nvidia? They have made some changes which affect TW2 performance, and are continuing to work on improving things.
I think the latest drivers were released only a couple of days ago.

yep downloaded that .. didnt make any big differnce though .. still cool with that ... im sure ill get better fps if i had 4 cores .. anywayz thanx for the replies again ...gona go now find sum harpy nests ..
