i've been waiting for Anezka at the Veyopatis statue (big head with open mouth with blood) for over an hour, meditated to pretty much every hour from dusk till midnight - no one showed up... am i waiting at the right statue and is there a trick to it?

there are two faces on that stone - should i wait on the back one instead?

She starts walking there, rather than appears there, at that time. Go back towards her hut and look for her merchant icon. Or just wait outside her hut and meditate to the appropriate time and then follow her to the statue.

I know the journal says go there in the evening but I think she starts walking there at midnight. It was mentioned in her conversation with Geralt.

Meditate outside her hut until 22:00. You should notice the icon slowly moving. Follow her to the statue (dispatching enemies if needed) until you are able to talk to her and initiate the ritual.

Just for anybody who didn't get the connection with the moving icon (since it's not really obvious): if you go into the journal and double-click on "Melitele's Heart" (just in case another quest is activated at that time instead of this one) and Anezka's icon will appear on the map, sitting in her hut. So that's how when the icon starts moving you know she's on her way.

...The double-click-on-journal-entry is a trick I didn't know right away and was glad to find out.

...Just thought I'd mention it. :)

And one more thing, She sometime is bugged when she going to cast the spell. This is happen prior to1.2 patch, don't know whether this was fixed or not with the latest patch. If she do nothing and didn't move at all, reload your save game. Also, she take quite long time to complete the ritual, in my case she take almost 8 - 10 minutes. I almost gave up and thought it was a bug at first.

Anyone had this bug ? : Anezka won't react to the talisman being in my inventory. Quest is also marked as completed . (marked as completed since the end of prologue when newboy distracts the guards...)

I, too waited for her and figured a no-show. So I returned to the village to look for her and found her "stuck" behind a fence in the village. Had to push her to the side to get her to continue on her path.
