Recently bought the retail version of Witcher 2, Installed and had a ton of problems. I had issues with administrative rights, fixed, but now my launcher is stuck in a loop. It asks for my activation code, then proceeds to download the update again and again. I've tried manually updating by downloading the 0-1.3 update, which produced an error saying, no patch data was found. The 1.1 patch says that I have an invalid or incomplete installation. The 1.2 Patch says the same thing. The 1.2-1.3 Patch says the same thing. I've reintalled twice now and nothing has changed

Specs: 6 GB RAM
Windows 7 Home 64 bit
Radeon HD 6770M

Try to manually install 1.1, then 1.2, then 1.3

Before installing the 1.1 manually make sure you don't have the troll.dzip file in the CookedPc folder. If it's there, delete it.

Didn't work, still says my game version is incomplete or invalid

Edit: Worked! I just tried to run the patch by itself, Then ran it through the patcher and it worked. Thanks!

This usually comes up when you have a small (or very full) C: drive, even if the game is installed on another drive. What is your disk configuration?

I have 4.54Go free on C: (the smallest freed drive), but my temp/tmp folders are elsewhere and have 74.8Go free, and the game has 12.1Go free.
I understand the patch has been badly coded... For now I can not patch.
