hi agin my friend
u saved my save game and use it so ther is a way that you can save the game in the same way that i can use it??

227: You can't use the save game if you don't patch. You can't patch if you don't know what version of the game you have.

So you can't use the save until you get in contact with your friend and figure out what version you have.

227: I only found one video on youtube that shows both loot points, so...

AudreyWinter: Thanks. So it's the same stuff all over again, nothing lost, then.
But I learned that the real reason why I prefer a gamepad these days is that the jerky mouse camera movement makes me nauseous. And coupled with the overexaggerated motion blur on top, it get's downright barf-worthy, even more so as a co-driver. ;)
Turn the motion blur off, seriously.

In fact, why did someone even put motion blur in games? It's completely pointless. The only place you would ever need to render motion blur is in still images. You get motion blur because you're eyes and brain can't keep up with the speed you're moving, causing everything to smear out. If you move fast enough in the game you get motion blur the exact same way: no need for a piece of hardware to blur shit out. Especially consider Geralt is on foot the whole time. I don't think even a Witcher is fast enough to actually cause blurring.

Oh no, I don't use that - but the guy who made the nauseating video did. ;)

I usually hate motion blur, but I actually liked it in The Witcher 2. I didn't find it overpowering, and decided I liked it better than the ever-so-slight judder I got when moving the camera around at 30 FPS with no blur on. I didn't actually start playing until after v1.2 was out though, so I'm not sure if the blur was toned down from what it was originally.

I understand if others prefer to turn off the blur though.

The only way would require me uninstalling and reinstalling the game just to re-kill the Kayran and send you a save. Honestly, if you can't be bothered to patch, I'm not going to go through all of that trouble. Especially since your story about a "friend" installing the game on your computer gives me a serious pirate vibe. If you obtained the game legitimately, find out which version you have, patch the game, and then the save will work.
