What's with the red beetle at the end? After you deal with Letho, Geralt goes to opet the door and then there's this red beetle and Geralt looks amazed by it. I'm guessing it's got something to do with the books, I only read the Blood of Elves and am only now starting The Last Wish.
It was a ladybug:)
Think its basically a symbolic thing. After all the crap Geralt has gone through, he can still appreciate the simple beauty of the world. Or something like that :)
