I think I remember reading somewhere if you try to launch the launcher prior to the destined time, which I am under the belief is 3am EST, it will just crash - so you`ll need to wait another 30 minutes and try again

Awww man, the download servers are buckling under the load, downloading at 60+KB when the previous part was around at about 2MB. Still, I'm spreading the word!

Nevermind I am downloading and combining now...YAY....LOLCATS!!!

How do I restart my downloader? When I closed it out and tried to re-open it my game was gone??!! I only had 100Megs left to download...HAALLPPP!!!

Go back to your My Account page and re-select Add game to GOG downloader. Your progress will continue from there.

In the bottom right hand corner of your screen theres the notification icons - one of them is your GOG downloader. Right click it and say QUIT and then relaunch the program,
