That is not what I am saying. What I am saying is simply that, if knowing random details about the game before you play it bothers you THAT much, probably the last place you want to visit is a loosely moderated forum, where people are posting stuff about the game. Sure, posting spoilers goes against "netiquette", but really, what can you expect from a forum that doesn't even support spoiler tags, and has no sections for tech support, general info, game discussion, etc?

"They shouldn't post spoilers in the title"... I agree.. they shouldn't... but they inevitably do. And to come here and expect not to see said spoilers is very.. counter-productive.

Using your logic, we shouldn't leave our houses--because you know, sometimes people get stabbed. Give me a break.

Mentioning Philippa Eilhart and that at some point she needs saving is the spoiler that people are mad about. Not that you put the word "spoiler" in the topic. Philippa is a pretty important figure in the books yet you don't meet her in the game at all if you pick Roche path.

So you are just going to run without any sort logical (well, now, can you?) explanation to your point...ok. very well.

I will tell you why you are way off:
It is all about certainty.

When you leave your house, is there a possibility you will get stabbed? Well, yes.. there is also the possibility you'll get mugged, run over by a bus, killed by a stray bullet, a dog will bite your leg, etc etc etc. But is there the certainty that you will get stabbed or mugged or killed or bitten by a dog when you leave your house? No.

Now, what is the certainty of finding game spoilers when you voluntarily come to a forum that you know is loosely moderated and doesn't even support spoiler tags? There is a 100% possibility, i.e., it is certain that you will find spoilers to the game here.

To put it in your stabbing terms, it is nothing like leaving your house and fearing you will be stabbed; it is more like walking down a dark alley in a big city at 2AM, seeing a bunch of thugs on your path holding knives, looking at you funny, and you thinking "I am not going to get stabbed even if I walk right through them".

If at all possible can we try NOT to turn this forum into another social.bioware.com?
