Hi all,
first off, i didn't finish the game yet, so i don't know if the details I'll tell you about take any importance later on, in wich case ,sorry, otherwise:
- Philipa's room in vergen (Iorveth's path) : next to the bed, the bedside table glows (by medalion use), but can't be looted, plus the wardrobe next to it seems to be hiding a secret room (u can see it on the map, and by working on the camera angle, u see the top of the oppening behind the said wardrobe) : anyone managed to gain access? or loot the side table?
- "Royal Blood"/ "walls have ears"/ "Suspect: Thorak" : in those quest you're supposed to investigate the poisoning of Saskia, so you talk to all, get the clues, get the 2 quests "walls have ears" and "Suspect: Thorak" and complete them both, wich naturaly makes them appear green for completed in your journal. But here's the hitch: past a certain point in the main plot ("the eternal battle" quest) those entries turn red, as if failed...this detail plus the fact that a fanatical priest who died before the actual poisoning makes for a convenient scapegoat to frame tend to make you think there is another ending to those quests, no? And yet after talking to everyone before/durind/after the quests: nothing came up. Anyone knows anything? What is it we could do to discover the truth before to lift the curse that we couldn't afterwards?
- About the 2 above: given that it most likely was Philipa that poisoned Saskia and then somehow framed it on good ol'Olcan, but that discovering that in game would kinda make it hard for the story to go on, do you think those 2 details can't be toyed with and are just there for the sake of makin sense? (that is, we did fail to unravel her plans and she most likely had a secret "big bad vilain bad ass lair" to prepare for her evil deeds, no^^?
-The blue dots: why are there NPCs that appear as blue dots on the map? Is it quest related?
-Meditating/Waiting : on the use of that function, is it solely for time specific NPCs and to lower/increase monster encounter? Or does it have an impact on other interactions? For exemple I've red a few posts where it said that everything had been tried to seduce Sile past the obvious first flirting interaction (everything meaning all possible dialogue choices at all possible plot stages) but what if it had to be done at a specific time? (by the way I did not play The witcher 1: did it have any similar "waiting" function?)
Ok, that's about it, so if you have any answers, i'd be grateful, if those questions are totaly silly coz I missed somthin' totaly obvious along the way, I'd be sorry, and if you have likewise ambiguous ingame curiosity that you'd like to share, feel free ^^.
Thanks,
Pehkno
