QUESTS:

"PROS."

The Quests and missions in TW2 are intressting and intreaging but they where so also in TW1. They are also differant from each other. When looking back on it I can't realy feel that there was any sort of repeating quests that I had feelt that I already have done several times befour and that is a good thing. I also like the sort of "story tell" way that the quests are presentat in the journal but it also gives the 1 bad thing I can say.

"CONS."

The thing I disliked in TW2 was the fact that some quest's gave little information on what your supposed to do or were very hard to understand. The Contract quests / Side quests are the once that suffer from this the most.

For example, the Nekker contract: First you pick up the quest and it gives it's story, then you gett the mission of learing more about the monster by reading (witch I realy liek so I'm not saying anything about this). Once you have read a book all it says in the quest story is that Geralt found out that they use a tunnel system and destroying the tunnels would do the tric and therfor the quest objective says: "Destroy the Nekker Tunnels"

First it doesn't say anything where you will find thise tunnels. I ran around a cave I knew had Nekker the first time after I gott this far and didn't understand why nothing happened. I later decided to leave it for now and did somthing else. After I had run around the forsts abit I found thise Tunnels in the ground and then undestood that these where the once mentioned. When I ran up to one it sayd "Destroy Tunnel" but every time I pressed it all Geralt Said was "I have to Destroy this Tunnels" and all I thought of "YOU DON*T SAY?!". I later gott so frustrated that I desided to look it up on the internet and then found out that you need to have "Grapeshot Bombs" in order to destroy the tunnels. Now how the bloody hell where I supposed to know that?

"SUDGESTION."

What I would like is that the quest journal would look like this. First you have the Story description that uppdates after what you do, as I said I liked this, then under it in the button would a description be placed telling the facts about the quest:

Description: I have to Destroy the Tunnel exits to stop the Nekkers. The Tunnels should be some where in the woods on dry land far from water. I could use Grapeshot bombs to colaps the Tunnels.

Lastly I would like to say. The "An Encrypted Manuscript" quest must be the most stupidest thing I have ever noticed. You gett the Quest in Chapter 3 and to do it you need some Alchemy Ingrediances witch you can't gett in Chapter 3 only from the previus Chapters. So if you have used them up your screwed basicly. Now how the bloody hell "again" are some one supposed to know that? I had used up 1 of the Ingrediances in my alchemy when doing potions. I had to take the risk and downloading a mod to be able to finish the quest. But come on realy? A Quest in the last chapter asking for things from the first chapter without saying that you will need them later on?
