With the new patch and an overclocked GPU I can run the game with everything thing highest including ubersampling. (i7, GTx 560 SLI) at over 50 FPS

All patched up the I would say this is the best looking videogame in history.
The Witcher looks almost photo-realists in same places.

Kudos to CD project for creating this game.

Would love to hear from anyone else who has finally got it working...
That means nothing unless you post your resolution.
I think that anybody using a single graphics card won't be able to run Ubersampling without seeing a huge hit to framerate. I have a GTX 460, so it's definitely out of the question for me. :( Still, having the option there is nice, because it means that TW2 will be one of those games that will age quite well into the future as computer hardware continues to get ever more powerful.
Hmmm to my eyes Ubersampling is utterly useless, the game looks almost identical without it.
And even without it it is pretty much the most beautiful game ever.

I think the shadows are noticeably improved with Uber. But I haven't played with it for very long, not when the frame rates are hovering around 15 FPS
@korniatm

check fps in Vergens tavern and You will see why i had always Uber off. Outside of Vergen its fine 50-60 avg. , never drops below 30 (1680x1050). First drop You'll notice near the gate of Vergen, although its still nearly 25 for me. But just walk in to the tavern and You'll see.

6core i7 and 2x factory OCed 5870 btw.
I've made dozen of tweaks in user.ini and have 16xAF from drivers lvl as well, maybe if i'll revert that my fps would be slightly better.

1360x768

I get between 45-60 FPS with everything on highest

not a big deal since FXAA is possible...
When enabling simple AA in the launcher + FXAA, the game looks even more clean than with Ubersampling, with a cost about 4-5 fps constant.

FXAA render is better to me, because it blend inward edges (instead of missing some particular edges that lets glittering zones when moving), the only noticeable downside is a slight blurring of the HUD, but nothing that alter the gameplay...

I run it currently with a i5 3Ghz and GTX560ti in 1680x1050, with all highest (except Depth of Field, and ubersampling of course), and an average 50 fps (down to 35-40 in some cutscenes because of DoF).

To see more about enabling (injecting) the FXAA antialiasing mode, check this post :

enjoy ! ;)

Confirmed. Works well and looks nice ;].

I always thought, that TW2 needs a tiny little bit AA more, supersampling is way too demanding and MLAA is way too blurry. FXAA is what that game needed ;].

Not true. It works perfectly fine for me though, admittedly, my monitor only allows me to play in 1280x1024.

With all due respect, I don't know what you are all talking about with forced AA this and that. All I know is that with ubersampling on, and the camera spins around Garelt looks almost photo-realistic.
without it on, it looks like a videogame.

Can anyone here run it at 40+ FPS with ubersampling on? or are commenting on how doesnt do anything cause u cant use it?

Trying to add to your e-peen by bragging about ubersampling doesn't give you the right to be a dick to others.

*the more you know

anyone can use it, but its horrible, and blurs everything to shiit. you must have either bad eyesight or someone who shakes the camera when taking your photos. FXAA is much better and does not make a ridiculous waste of your computing elements for such a tiny gain.
There is an option to disable motion blur in the game, one can disable it..but if your FPS is low the lower frame rate will be easily visible with the later disabled.

Yeah, you could probably get away with it if you have a high-end enough graphics card and a smaller resolution. :) In any case, I tried it with Ubersampling on and off and didn't notice that much of a difference (not enough to warrant the framerate drop anyway), so I'm happy with leaving it off.
