I am surprised to not find anything on this topic, neither on google or the wiki, or even this forum.

What are the effects of berserk ? How does it work ? (berserk is the x thingy for alchemy path). What happens if you have both berserk and heliotrope (magic x) unlocked ? For me, the heliotrope activates, not sure about berserk.

Since I am asking this, what makes group finishers "finish" more than a single opponent ? Do they have to be stunned, and, if not, does stunning one / multiple opponents have any effect on group finishers ?

EDIT : If berserk does something like +% damage or other, I want to know the percentage value or whatever value :D

There's a very small entry in the manual, on page 17:

Berserk – available after you learn the Mutant skill. Once berserk is activated,
Geralt will deal supernatural amounts of damage for a short time.

There's also another very small entry on the Wiki skill tree:

Thanks, I guess "supernatural amounts of damage" clears things up a little :) It would be nice if the devs decided to clear it up though, seeing as how heliotrope and finishers have concrete effects, I would know the effects of berserk in how much it increases damage. Still, it's obvious you need swords skills to dish that damage.

Another thing I find bad about the alchemy tree is that there are only a handful of good potions in the game, their effects aside poisoning state are very weak and there are even some boss fights where you son't get to have potion effects on you (draughir for those who know it).

I know the alchemy tree is about more than potion effects, but still is rather awkward in my experience. Maybe since I didn't get to mix it with swords and didn't much use bombs / never used traps.

Hey, haven't played this game for quite some time. Last I remember, the effects are
1. Damage +20% (i.e. the pre-berserk damage on your character screen x1.2)
2. Health regen +2 outside combat (or +3 I don't remember) and +1 in combat
3. Insta-death on hit +5% (if you have y% before, your final value will be (y+5)%)
4. Damn annoying green blurry overlay effect.

You can see all those effects on your character screen by comparing before- and after-Berserk values.
