Okay so in my first playthrough I saved Aryan. Then towards the end in chapter 3 I see him outside of the summit and speak to him for a bit. After saving Mary instead in my recent playthrough I never saw or heard about her again. Did I miss something? Also did I miss something that explains what really happened to Boussy her son?
bump
No, you missed nothing.

In my imagination, Emhyr var Emreis has her merrily secluded in his royal chambers overlooking the river Alba, as he uses her as his latest surrogate to play out his twisted fantasies of fucking his daughter who, for now, is out of his reach.

nilfgardian ambassador took her under his wing remember? that is why you need to read, in this case, listen to the in game dialogues.

Yes and since that time her son has been murdered and her daughter is alone. Where the hell is she during all of that? She's clearly no longer with Shilard if she's even alive. Her eldest son gets an update at the end of the game. She doesn't. That was my point. It has nothing to do with reading comprehension.
YEAH MY QUESTION AS WELL!!!

her son with foltest is dead. I dont see anyone mention that :(
Wait , wait

You saw Aryan in chapter 3? I saved him at the siege as well but he ended up burning down the castle with himself in it. Just how many story branches are there?

Me too! Is there a way to save Aryan but don't burn down the castle?!?

Now I feel stupid for not seeing him but thanks for the answer mate. One more reason for another play through!

As if I needed another reason lol

*Small Spoiler*

He's standing right outside the area where you enter the summit. It was very pleasant to see him alive and get some closure on that storyline. Making it all the more unpleasant that his mother's branch doesn't seem to have been given the same respect.

How did you learn that? I never came across that info. That is pretty sad. :(

You can read it in the journal entry about Boussy.
Foltest son is also mentioned, if Geralt is allied with Vernon Roche in the third act. If you choose to rescue Foltest daughter instead of Triss, there is a bit of discussion between Roche and Geralt about the risks attached to giving here to Radovid till she's old enough to claim the throne of Temeria. In one of the statemens Geralt mentions he wouldn't be surprised if Radovid is the one responsible for the disappereance of the boy.

I don't think he survived in my play through (I didn't see him, but I didn't actually really look all that hard). The story-book thing that came up after the end of the Prologue talked about how Aryan's honor allowed him to save himself and his men when Geralt confronted him on the tower but then killed himself to destroy his castle. Or that is what I thought it meant.

Weird. Now I'll have to play again!

If you don't save Aryan does he show up? I know that he was being tortured, but does he get executed if you aren't there?
