It seems highly likely there will be a expansion at some point..in interviews they also havent ruled out the idea and even mentioned " If a expansion comes out it will cost money "

heres a list of things to make this 99% into a 100%.

1.Allow Jumping.
2.Make massive battles into epic massive battles instead of fighing 20 soldiers when theres a war going on.
3.Allow your character to walk around after the main missions are completed so we can do all the little side quests we didnt find/didnt do.
4.Massively Expand LvL Cap.. I finished the game and didnt even dint the lvl unlocks.
5.Dont be afraid to let us walk through water or even swim.
6.More random boss/hard creatures throughout forests/tombs
7.I wouldnt mind having leveling up potions like in Witcher 1 :)

that is all :) keep doing what your obviously brilliant at doing!

And if you wanna add a mutiplayer at some point i wouldnt complain! Just have treasure areas where up to like 4 witchers are useful where u could enter abandon castles/areas and just destroy hard/boss like creatures with special equipment/treasure :) And allow people to join there friends and help with there story quests just bump the difficulty alot when someone else joins and XP.

Love this PC exclusive game!

You're only supposed to develop one talent tree, not try to do all of them.
low rated
^^ u got it wrong my lil friend..

your suppose to combine them all to the way u want to fight. your missing out on alot if u actually thought u needed to stick to 1 tree this entire time.

Do you know that sounds very condescending?

Maybe you should read the section on development paths in the manual.
It really said that in the manual ? wow.

1.Dont pick any tree but 1 tree ?

that doesnt seem right at all. maybe your right but that would be not as fun

The reason is that with a lvl35 cap - chosen on purpose I suppose - you can only buy one adrenaline ability, anyhow.
Hence, if you were to spread your points out (in theory much superior, you're right), you wouldn't get any "ultimate" ability. Which are rather strong, so you got to weight better overall stats (spread abilities) versus better focused strength (one tree)

The manual highlights that each tree is suited to a different type of gameplay.

"You can develop the paths independently of each other, but it is worth noting that
the most powerful abilities are at the end of each tree, so you should spend your
talents wisely. You cannot un-learn an ability you have learned; once you have made
your choice, you have to live with it."

There is also the fact that the level cap is apparently 35 according to what I read, and you can spend a maximum of 30 points for each tree. If you want the full effect you have to concentrate on that tree.

That's because it isn't right. Quoting from the manual:
You can develop the paths independently of each other, but it is worth noting that
the most powerful abilities are at the end of each tree, so you should spend your
talents wisely. You cannot un-learn an ability you have learned; once you have made
your choice, you have to live with it.

I don't really care, what I am supposed to do. Developing more trees doesn't make the game easier, but makes it more interesting. I would go for increased level cap too. But above all I would go for modding support. And if it does become easier then you can always increase difficulty level.
i knew he had to be wrong.. but just for the record i had a few all around the place but i still managed to get the best perks out of swordmanship aswell as a combination of the other trees.. it is possible <<
Players in a level oriented game like the "feeling" of getting more powerful via levels so if there was an expansion a level cap increase would be pretty obvious.

Witcher 2 is the best rpg I have played in a long time. Blows away Dragon Age 2, haha.
amen soot00 !! and ill support this series until it decides to release a console game :) unless its next gen console

Billy, listen to me. White Wolf can't jump.
Expand the story.
Add new skills/abilities
Increase the level cap
Add more armor/weapons
Add new monstrs & bosses
Refine combat even further

Basically just give us more more more of this awesome game
^ i said everything u just said.. the rest was naturally implied lol
