So, I played through the game already (loved it) and I didn't have any problems.
I'm ready for seconds, but I reformatted my PC yesterday and I'm having some issues with the launcher now. I may have fixed the problem, but I want to make sure I'm not missing out on DLC and whatnot.
After installing the game (Direct2Drive version) I tried to register the game, but whenever I clicked register the launcher would minimize and nothing would happen. I had to ctrl+alt+del to close it.
If I launched the game, the menu text would be messed up.
After trying a bunch of stuff I went to My Documents folder where there's two Witcher folders, one is called "The Witcher 2" and the other is "Witcher 2".
Inside "The Witcher 2" is Patcher_DD
Inside "Witcher 2" is Patcher_1.2
I ran Patcher_1.2 and it fixed the menu text but now I don't have a DLC or Register button on the launcher. The launcher has been able to connect this whole time.
Is this normal after the 1.2 patch? If so, sorry for wasting your time :P
