I was hoping perhaps we could get a response from CDP on this issue.

Us 3D gamers were expecting this issue to be addressed in patch 1.3, but evidently it wasn't. Rather the patch produced the same results as the nVidia temporary fix released some weeks ago, which also restored framerate performance, but caused misaligned shadows. As a result the game is still not 3D ready.

In case anyone doubts there is a problem that goes beyond incidental user specific hardware/software related troubles, this issue has been reported for a wide range of system specifications. See also:

well

3D Vision was tested like every other change and it works without any issue. If you have any problems with it please contact our technical support.

There is no way in hell they would not have noticed that if they actually tested it. As soon as you are anywhere outdoors you can see how screwed up the shadows are.

I don't know how to interpret this. It could be "sorry we missed it during testing, and it's still on our list of things to fix" or it could be "we do not consider it a/our problem anymore, and won't be spending any effort trying to fix it".

I would just like to get confirmation that it's the former ;)
I read it as " we fixed it and are moving on..."

I hope they realize there is a "3D Vision Ready" logo on the retail box. I am sure that helped make some sales for them as I already have seen some people on the Nvidia 3D Vision forum posting they bought the game knowing that.
