After the INFAMOUS update, game wont even start. Crashes and wants me to send the bug report.
Uninstalled game, updated my 2070S drivers, installed again but same result.

Was working OK before this update.

Same. DX12 crashes, DX11 starts but buggy framerate
I had same problem after installed 4.01 update. Thats why i had to delete x64 and x64_dx12 folders in game instalation directory/bin folder and best to do is delete userSettings ini and same dx12userSettings also) in W3 folder in User Documents. Then just run Manage instalation option in GOG and choose Verify / Repair option, it will download only missing files and fix this issue.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This fixed my issue.
Before 4.0.1 everything worked fine. After the update, the DX12 version would not start and instantly crash.
Deleting and re-installing the game didn't work, so I guess it is the combination of deleting the X64/ X64_dx12 AND config files.

Did not help in my case. Still crashing at launch or load with DX12 and DX11, no mods

My dude!! This did it for me. Incredible, but thanx a lot!!! The game still runs like shit anyways.
Why is there no 4.0.1 patch notes showing in the GOG client? It's only showing changes from the last 4.0.0 update in December.
