Hey all,

Just wondering about something. I'm currently pre-loading the game for install through GALAXY. However on release, I and someone else will both be playing it, and I was wondering where installers go? I just finished downloading RIse Of The Triad through galaxy, and it installed but when finished did not leave behind an installer. Any idea if witcher will leave an installer? Or will i just be able to copy the files accross to my family member's PC?

Thanks for the help

The Galaxy client does not leave behind an installer. You could download using the weblinks or GoG Downloader to get an offline installer.

However, you can still easily transfer your Galaxy download to another PC.

To do this you need to

1. Finish the download.
2. In the Galaxy client, select your game and go to More->Manage->Show Folder
3. Copy the whole folder to the new PC. (at this point you could just run the game using the executable file.)
4. Run Galaxy on the new PC. (there is a good chance Galaxy might pick up the game automatically)
5. In the Galaxy client, Select the game and go to More->Manage->Import Folder.

Donzo.

P.S. You can also download an offline installer by going to More->Get Backups and Extras.

This answer is absolutely correct and must be accepted as a solution. Just let me put my two cents in.

Be careful with downloading extras in beta Galaxy since it doesn't verify files and re-downloads everything. In case of offline installer for TW3 which is about 22 GB it can be painful. Make sure you don't have extra, only then ask Galaxy to download them. For now you can use Downloader for extras as it does verify files.
