Goodbye Galaxy, uninstalled, 26 hours of downloading 19GB,( 27 minutes later done, old GOG downloader.) enough said.

Brother, there's a whole week to wait..

I used galaxy and had the preload done in less than 20mins. But cool story, bro.

I had wildly fluctuating speeds throughout.. not that I was watching it every second.. however it downloaded in an acceptable amount of time. This is a big release, Galaxy is in beta, blah blah blah, etc.

Same here, no issues. Liking what I've seen of it so far.

If you've downloaded TW3 via Galaxy in less than an hour, you can consider yourself lucky. A lot of people are complaining about low speeds and broken installers. For me it went smoothly but comparatively slow (1.5 MB/s). Currently I'd recommend using GOG Downloader for bulky games. At the same time I would definitely not say goodbye to Galaxy, this is only the beginning. Come back when it's stable.

They seemed to sort out the speeds. I Pre-Loaded the game through Galaxy in about 30 minutes.

Yeah I was having problems for the first two days of the Pre-load. But just tried last night and it was going fine.

downloaded last night and it maxed out my connection, was complete in an hour :)

Will probably use Galaxy later, but for now will stay with old GOG downloader until Witcher is finish installing & launched.

I was downloading at 4.5MB/s when i installed the witcher 3 that's just as fast at Steam...so maybe it's a conection problem your end? Or maybe bad global routing?

Yeah Screw Galaxy, it kept telling me i had insufficient disk space, tried on 2 different hard drive with 100GB + free space, so I just went to the main site and got it with the gog downloader, no issues whatsoever with it.

Hmm 1st day preload started I was downloading it about 12 hours :D
They had it bugged or totally overloaded servers... who knows :)
