Sooo basically it's STILL better to stay on the old version than complete edition?

Depends. Personally, I'm pretty happy with the upgrade but there are others, who suffer from various issues. I suggest trying it out and seeing for yourself if it works for you or not, it's not like you can't go back to the old version.

It's a CDPR game. It's going to take at least 6 months for it to be fully fixed, same with the Witcher, Witcher 2, Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk.

That being said, unless you've got a RTX 40 series, it would seem unlikely that you'll be able to turn on RTX, so you'll only get the graphical improvements and bug fixes over the original. Apparently the graphics are better in DX12 vs 11 without RTX, but I think it's marginal.

If you've got a nVidia 40 series card, RTX and DLSS 3 Frame Generation make 4.02hf1 a viable option in DX12.

RTX worked fine for me with 3080ti even with 4.00 although I haven't played for long, just tested it out.
With every "patch," increasingly I wonder what the point of this "next gen" version ever was. Clearly CDPR was unwilling, or incapable, of doing it properly. So why do it at all?
