Horse commands are ultra bizarre.

Firstly I need a separated key to run/mid run/walk, really? No option to use the same key than walk+run?

Secondly I always need keep press a key which is pointlessly cumbersome, no option for a toggle?

Side note: Gog is unable to make a forum compatible with Firefox Mac, seriously!!

So I gave up on mods with 2 pages of notes on how install, facepalm.

But to temper a little bit the annoyances with commands, I could edit the binding config file, to bind multiple commands on same keys, typical for horse commands use keys of commands not valid on horse.

It's not removing the very bad design to keep press a key to use the horse (lol how anybody can think it's not a bad UI design?) but at least less pointless keys commands is better than nothing.
