Yeah, 1.08 introduced this bug. The ending slides are correct regardless.

Helophor: Ok same for me, but in the Final Scene Raduvid is Dead, so it seems to be a Bug, but it is not impacting the Game.
But schouldn`t alle the Witch Hunters in Novigrad be gone with Raduvids Death? Or is their just no big change to the World after the final Scene?
Why should the witch hunters be gone? You did not destroy the church of infernal flame. I wish I could have Geralt push witch hunters and priests off the bridges in Novigrad.

I just finihed game few days ago, got this quest failed when I initiated final quest. Verision 1.08. Slides were fine.

Same problem here, I also killed radovid with the help of Roche, the quest was completed.
However when you start the final mission , it stays mission failed for Reason of State.

GUYS! it doesn't matter if the slides after beating the game are correct, because Novigrad still full of Redanian soldiers and Witch Hunters! and it defenely should not! so the bug persist (at least in v1.08)

Same here as soon as I started the final battle I get quest failed and it was complete in journal. On latest version of 1.84...this sucks. So many bugged quests and I came late to the party

yeah Reason of State retroactive fail is still present in 1.08.
