They simply can't tell a real date until it's done and tested. Everything else would be a rough estimation...
Announcing estimated dates could turn against them, as it has happened in the past.
Even announcing "soon" would be a mistake, since developers and gamers seem to define the term very different.

Talking of trish, what was that on her forhead, was that from a DLC, it really put me off her.

Yes her alternative outfit is automatically activated, if installed. It can be turned off though. I prefer her original looks.
