Hello !

This is my first time playing The Witcher on PC (I'm more of a console gamer). It's currently on the Skellige islands and I can't go back to Velen/Novigrad. The problem does not occur when traveling to White Orchard and Vizima. While loading the game freezes and returns to the desktop.
Saves from Novigrad before going to Skellige also don't work. I've tried everything, I have 60h and I don't want to start over :/
Updating and reinstalling did not help.

GOG version: The Witcher 3 Complete Edition patch 4.03 DX12 version (Dx11 also has this problem)
Laptop Specifications:
Intel(R)Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU 2.50 GHz
RAM 16GB
64 bit
GTX 1650 Ti

CDPR support replied to my email and sent me instructions on what to do and it really worked. I am sending below maybe it will help you :D

Perform a clean install of the game as follows:
1. Back up your game saves. Save location: %userprofile%\Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves
2. Disable GOG Cloud for The Witcher 3
3. Uninstall The Witcher 3
4. Go to the location from point #1 and delete the The Witcher 3 folder.
5. Go to the folder where The Witcher 3 was installed, if The Witcher 3 folder exists, delete it.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Install The Witcher 3. Do not install any mods.
8. Start the game.
9. Close the game.
10. Move your saves copied in step #1 to the newly created gamesaves directory here: %userprofile%\Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves .
11. Check if it helped.
