So, I'm working my way through Witcher 2(Just got to Loc Muinne, thanks for asking) so I can get a save game for Witcher 3 when it comes on Monday. Been playing through on Steam, downloaded W3 on the Galaxy client, so my question is this.

Will W3 find my W2 savegames despite the fact I'm playing it on Steam, or am I gonna have to move some save files around to get it working?

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Edit: Just some follow up info. If you're using cloud saves on steam, you're save games will be located somewhere kinda weird. I can't post links for some reason, but this info comes from a CDPR page. Presuming a standard steam install you can find them in c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your Steam user ID>\20920\remote.

+1 ... default location for saves where they Witcher 3 game will try look for them. :)
