I've been holding off buying and playing the Witcher 3 until it's possible to buy the complete game. And now that the last DLC is out, are there any news, will I ever be able to buy the complete game?

No one? No news about this at all? Am i really the only person interested in buying the complete Witcher 3 game?

I guess it could happen, but in all honesty there would be very little point.

You buy the game, you buy the expansion pass. Congratulations, you can now play every piece of content that will ever exist for Witcher 3.

A complete edition would only save you a couple of additional mouse clicks of downloading the DLC, and an enhanced edition is probably unlikely since they already decided not to touch up the main game to be on the level with Blood & Wine, in order to focus on Cyberpunk.

I remember CDProject RED said they wouldn't do any Enhanced Edition shortly after Witcher 3 release.

Well, technically, game IS complete. You only need the game + Free DLC + Expansion Pass.

Also, there was an error before of some retailers listing in their website the "Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition" (Germany, was it?), but official statement from GOG personnel was: "We *currently* don't have any plans for such a thing and it is clearly an error".

They didn't use words to hint that it will NEVER happen, though... The trend with Enhanced Editions, with PREVIOUS titles at least, was some added extra content, some fixes and stuff like that. The upgrade to Enhanced was also offered for FREE! Normally, if it happens in the future, it is most likely going to be free, again, for people who own the main game; but unlike previous titles, it won't contain all the extra, new, added content for free (like the expansions)!

W3 + Expansion Pack(sells as one item) works a bit like it. I got it after HoS and before BaW were released. HoS installed itself with update files for the game. And BaW as soon as it was released. Both addons marked as bought at GOG, but the store still suggests I buy expansion pack =)
