Well written Fenixp. Witcher 3 has been a mixed emotional journey for me. I loved 1 and 2. I looked forward to 3 with so much excitement. Playing the game in the early stages, I went from "oh this is great!" to OMG I am so disappointed with this game" so many times. Running around trying to do all the ? on the map soon became really tedious and I started to ignore them. I found overall I was disappointed. Not being as good at expressing myself as you are, I felt bad about my disappointment. I wanted so much to love this game as I did the others and couldn't put my finger on exactly what it was that let the game down for me. You and some of the other commenters have helped me with that. Thanks. I have to say, the first half I found a little tiresome in the way of many quests where I went and killed stuff, got my reward, then went off and did that over and over. There were some great quests with more content, but overall W 3 lost the character and atmosphere of 1 and 2. The last half, I find it picked up and seem to feel more like to other 2. Overall, yes I enjoyed the game, but I don't think it had the atmosphere and character of the others.
