While I was waiting for the new releases to be announced (*), I went through my wishlist, to see if I could weed out some games.
(*) here they are, btw:

And boy - it turned out, that I had a lot of games on my wishlist that I never bought, even if they were on sale.
Some of these games must have been sitting on my wishlist for years. Some of them are available for a real cheap base price already, and can even get ridiculous cheap if on sale.
And yet - I never buy them. Oh, of course I look at them when they go on sale, to decide if I should give them a go this time...I even put some of them regularily in my cart - only to delete them again, before check-out.
And today - finally - I said to myself "why do I keep these games in my wishlist, if I obviously don't intend to ever buy them?"
So I deleted them rigorously.
I cut my wishlist from 176 games down to 72 games.
And to be clear: some of these 72 games will probably only remain on my wishlist until I feel another urge to get rid of them.
But for one day, getting rid of 104 "dead bodies" from my "wished, but never buying-collection" is good enough.
So - how about you?
Do you have these "dead bodies" lying around in your wishlists?
Games, that you -for some reason- thought, you would definitely buy somedays (if the price is right, if you're in the mood for the genre, etc.), but in the end only served to artificially bloat your wishlist?
What was your highest "body count" when deleting games from your wishlist?
For me, I think, it was these 104 of today.
