227: I have one. It's nice because if something crazy comes up and interrupts you while docked, you can just use it in portable mode. The specs may not be anything special, and a disgusting number of indie games are dumped onto its store without any thought given to their performance or stability, but it's flexible and has some decent first-party games (including the first decent Fire Emblem in a long, long time).
It's definitely not the ideal platform for The Witcher 3 if you have more powerful options—we're talking about a console that can't even run the first-party Link's Awakening remake without huge swings in the frame rate—but it's cool that those who
only have a Switch can play it.
To a certain degree, the hardware gets a pass because it's Nintendo and nostalgia for their heyday makes it hard for people to criticize them, but the Switch has some legitimate pluses. Especially for older people with a time crunch.
if something crazy comes up and interrupts you while docked < This bit has me confused. And they are Switch Lite, apparently they came out this year. I'll have to get an update on the Witcher, for playing problems and if any come up I'll put it in here but I would of thought that it has to be a decent piece of hardware to play the game.
