The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 50% off for the first time. Up to 80% off games that you'll find only on GOG.com.

Across the years, we've tracked down and recovered numerous gaming classics - those lost to time but never quite forgotten. We've tested, tweaked, and tested some more to get them up and running on your computers, free of the all-consuming hassle of virtual machines and emulators. We've done our best to deliver bonus goodies: manuals, booklets, and all the little things that gave us a sense of heft and ownership so many years ago.

We are digital archeologists, we are gaming detectives, and this week is all about the games that make GOG.com a unique place to be:

For the first time ever, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a 50%, courtesy of our friends at CD PROJEKT RED. And while we're at it, we're throwing in the rest of the Witcher franchise along for the ride.

Four bundles, the best of those that returned, only on GOG.com:
D&D: Classic Bundle (up to -80%): featuring the classic editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights - 10 games in total.

The D&D Classic Bundle looks good but why no Baldur's Gate Enhanced =( ?

In fact it's a little bit awkward to sell Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 and enhanced edition separately. Most of the time, when an enhanced/HD version of a classic game is released on gog, the old/classic version is included on it, but for this game it's not. A little bit greedy imho.

tinyE: Starfleet Academy it is. Only one of two true ST RTS games I've ever seen.

Oh and FYI, they based the design of the guy in this pic on me.

Maxvorstadt: Ah, you mean the one in the background with the red pants and the red bra?
Of course! What, you thought I was talking about the big brawny dude!?
That is so mean. My wallet suffered so much from you, GOG and now he has to take another blow ;-P

Because the enhanced versions were published by a different company than the originals.
Pleasantly surprised on this one. Fairly rare these days to see so many list items in one sale.
Oh, I wish I had saved some money from the previous sale. I might have cleaned up on a few of the SSI titles.

Different Developer/Publisher.

Originals = BioWare / Hasbro Inc.
Enhanced = Beamdog / Beamdog
Btw, looks like the Star Trek games are on steam also.
Has anyone seen my wallet? It escaped when I tried to put it in the juice extractor.

Walllet, wallet, wallet.... here boy!

I really need to look this one over once I get home from work... nice looking sale!

D-Double sale!
Interesting bundles, but I'll skip them for now.
