It's going to be released on Epic Game Store and Rockstar games launcher in November 5. Steam version will be released in December. Really excited to hear this news.

I wonder if they'll be able to pull off decent keyboard/mouse controls. The controls are definitely one of it's below average features.
But will it still feature shrinking horse scrotums??
I'd rather have the first one.
Cool news - any mention of RDR1 or Revolver coming to PC?... finally.

You will need the HD textures pack for that :P. Cheers

Would care but

Epic Games - fuck off...
Delayed - 2018 wants it's release back
MTX bullshite - given what happened with GTA 5 - Rockstar can go fist itself
"Coming to" PC.
"Coming on" PCs is...something else (and I'm sure Rule 36 applies here).
I am thrilled for Red Dead Redemption 2. It would also be very nice to see the first part on PC... I am not a console player, so I have missed both games...

I like that this was the first takeaway to gripe about and not the fact that Rockstar is driving their own launcher to the hoop.

Anyone else curious - https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/61153/Red-Dead-Redemption-2-Coming-to-PC-November-5th

They REALLY want you to buy via their launcher but it'll be up on other stores for pre-order (everyone loves those!).

I agree.

Having played them both, I aggressively dislike 2... but love 1 (and even replay it from time-to-time).

RDR is one of my top 10 favorite games... why'd you dislike 2?
There will be no SP DLCs so bit disappointed. Also - no RDR1, unless emulation counts.

Only one month on Epic Store before Steam release? Why other games didn't do that, why they had to choose 1 year? There would be way less fuss over this.

ReynardFox: Honestly I'd much rather have the first game on PC, I really don't like how micro-managey RDR2 is, too many real world pain-in-the-ass nuisance mechanics for my entertainment media.
Same, RDR1 was masterpiece for me and even today holds up well.
And that comes from someone who can't stomach Rockstar games released after GTA SA.
I would buy RDR1 on PC even if they did not included those freebies.

I'd swear I've seen some "Wanted" posters for a DRM-free release somewhere...
