Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, a 3000-year build-up of China's turbulent history, is now available, DRM-free and as a digital exclusive on GOG.com!

Being the Emperor of such a vast and ancient kingdom is nothing if not challenging. Once you're done admiring the exotic visuals, you will be faced with the economic, political, military, and diplomatic affairs that will either expand your kingdom or abruptly halt its glorious course through history.
The game looks very nice, also never heard about this game.
Glad to see more Activision titles appearing here. Really hoping we see Soldier of Fortune 1 & 2 get a re-release soon.
Thanks GOG.

Anyone want to trade Emperor ROTMK for a game or two from my HAVE list?

Thank you GOG for the February surprise!
I love you GOG
Consider me interested. ;)
Instant buy.

Crosmando: Has this one had a widescreen patch made for it yet? I know Zeus and Pharoah both have HD patches and they're the same engine as this.

I feel like these releases are building to Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo.

Hardly. Activision doesn't have problems with putting their games on Steam and GOG. Blizzard does.

They're both subsidiaries of the same company. I'm not convinced Battle.net is enough of an excuse to keep Blizzard's classic titles from GOG.

Given the fact that Activision and Blizzard operate very differently and have different visions on gaming, I wouldn't read too much into that.

With Blizzard's current crop of games: Diablo III, Hearhstone, Heroes Of The Storm, Overwatch, StarCraft II and World Of Warcraft, sure, but there's no good reason to hold back their classics.

I don't get it, only 5 bucks and people still say "Thanks GOG but I'll wait until I get it for free (wishlist)!" ??

I have been waiting so long for this one. 15 years ago (or something like that) I got the game on a CD from a PC mag, then lost the CD and waited all these years to stumble upon it again.

Instabought!

All hail GOG :-)

Never stop dreaming, Barry! :-)
But Blizzard is already selling their more recent classics in their own Battle.Net-Store and I don't assume they intend to share the revenue with any digital distributor - if they don't have to.

On Topic: Thank you GOG, for bringing this classic back to the gamers! My retail copy simply wouldn't let me install it on my machine... Instantbuy, of course.
